Flux MX is an interactive visualization that illustrates the intricate patterns of credit card transactions among various cells and zip codes, integrating data from Foursquare. Users can effortlessly filter transactions by categories within each cell, gaining valuable insights into both the incoming and outgoing financial flows connecting these diverse geographical areas. The application also provides a comprehensive view of cell activity, distinguishing between different types of commercial and residential functions. This tool earned second place in the business category of the Innova Challenge MX competition, a prestigious event organized by BBVA. The competition attracted the talents of 378 developers hailing from 36 countries, all harnessing the power of the BBVA API designed specifically for this purpose, enabling access to data related to BBVA card transactions across three Mexican cities over a six-month period.
